State of North Carolina, Transylvania County:

I, Giles Glazner of the county and state aforesaid being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament 

First after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the residue of my personal property including all that I posess at my death, money, notes, accounts, household and kitchen furniture etc, I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Glazner to hold and enjoy during her life with full power to dispose of the same or any part thereof when in her judgment she thinks advisable so to do, and should there by a residue at her death, then I give and bequeath to my son Loranzo M. Glazner and my daughter Malinda Lowdon to be equally divided between them, and if they be dead, then to be equally divided amongst their heirs. share and share alike - I make, constitute and appoint my said son Loranzo M. Glazener executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness, whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, this the 18th day of July 1884-

State of North Carolina, Transylvania County:

S. S. In the Superior Court A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Giles Glazner deceased, is exhibited before me, the undersigned Clerk of the Superior Court of the said county, by L. M. Glazner, the executor therein mentioned and the due execution thereof by the said Giles Glazner is proved by the oath and examination of W. P. Southern and WB Duckworth the subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn doth depose and say & each for himself deposeth and saith that is a subscribing witness to the paper writing now shown, and purporting to be the last will and testament of Giles Glazner, that so said Giles Glazner in the presence of this deponent subscribed his name at the end of said paper writing now shown as aforesaid and which bears the date of 18th day of July 1884, and the deponent further saith, that the said Giles Glazner the testator aforesaid did at the time of subscribing his name as aforesaid declare the said paper writing so subscribed by him and exhibted to be his last will and testament, and this deponent did thereupon subscribe his name at the end of said will as an attesting witness thereto and at the request and in the presence of the said testator. And this deponent further saith that at the said time, when the said testator subscribed his name to the said last will as aforesaid, and at the time of deponent subscribing his name as an attesting witness there to as aforesaid, the said Giles Glazner was of sound mind and memory of fill age to execute a will and was not under any restraint to the knowledge, information or belief of this deponent. And further these deponent say not.
