HYDE COUNTY, NC CHURCHES

Below are listed Hyde County churches of all denominations, past and present. This is not a definitive list. We need your help in compiling information on all of theses churches. Please contribute what materials you have on the church histories, pastors, congregations, photos, etc.  Send your information to me.  Your assistance is needed and appreciated. Thanks!

Notes:
1. Townships are as they are now. They may have been different when some churches were founded.
2. The Methodist Episcopal Church, South resulted from the split between the Southern and Northern branches of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States before the Civil War. They reunited in 1939 as The Methodist Church, now named The United Methodist Church.
