- Wake County students from the NC Yearbook Index – the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center has been making college yearbooks from across the state available online. Check this list of Wake County students for your relatives/ancestors. Not all graduates had a hometown associated, so be sure to also do a surname search. The index is an ongoing project.
- Annual report of the Raleigh township graded schools, Raleigh, North Carolina
- Historical Sketches of the Raleigh Public Schools (1876-1941-1942) – includes a history of school superintendents, and sketches of the schools in the county.
