This Indenture made this 9th day of February 1811 between Thomas Norman Junr of the County of Granville & State of No Carolina of the one part & William Daniel of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the sd Thomas Jr for & in Consideration of the sum on one hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the sd William Daniel before the sealing & Delivering of the presents the rect whereof he the sd Thomas Norman doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained & sold by these presents do bargain sell & grant unto the sd William Daniel his Heirs & assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land which I purchased of my Father formerly the land of Claborn DENNY Thomas Webb & others situate lying & being in the County of Person & state aforesaid Beginning at a white oak on Harris Corner thence south to a red oak on Daniels line thence west to & along Daniel & persons line to willow oak thence No to a black jack thence East to a black jack thence No to a pine thence East to a pine on Harris Corner thence South to a Pine Stump in Harris line to the Beginning containing one hundred acres more or less with all & singular its appurtenances the said Thomas Norman do bind himself his Heirs &c to warrant & forever defend the said sold premises against the claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever unto the Sd W. Daniel his Heirs & assigns forever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the Day & date above written
