Odell Baptist Church is a lovely red-bricked building, trimmed in white, with a green rooftop finish, constructed in 1950. The Church and it’s Cemetery sit on 2 acres of land along Highway 1509, in an area surrounded by many trees. The Cemetery is a fairly large one with many of the graves well marked with tombstones or crosses.   Some of the names are those of Alston, Baker, Burgess, Johnson, Settles, Settlers, Taylor and Williams, and represent families from the surrounding communities.
