Thirty-Seventh Regt. U.S.C. Infantry
HISTORY OF COMPANY "H"
Company H was organized and mustered into service, August 13, 1864 at Point of Rocks, Virginia, and participated in all the campaigns in which the regiment took part. It was organized by First Lieutenant Horace E. WHITFIELD, who was afterwards promoted to Captain, for distinguished conduct at battle of Fort Harrison, Virginia, September 30, 1864.
