HISTORY OF THE

HISTORY OF COMPANY "A"

This Company was mustered into United States service January 30th, 1864, at the entrenched camp, near Norfolk, Virginia, as Company A, 3d North Carolina Colored Volunteers, of General WILD'S African Brigade.
