BELL, ROBERT - Information on a Robert Bell, Esq., who during the 1790 census was the head of a fairly large holding and household in Franklin CO. He was the son and heir of a Thomas Bell (of Rowan Co.?) and also had substantial interests in Rowan Co. NC. Did he have a younger brother named Thomas? In various records, ie marriage, property transfers, the Montgomery family keeps popping up...what was the connection? I would kindly appreciate any insight that anyone could proved....would gladly exchange info..Sincerely....Lynn Bell
