Family Record. Deaths. William H. Simpson, son of George V. Simpson and Alice his wife, died Oct 29^th the year of our Lord 1901 age 27 days. Albert V. Simpson, son of George V. Simpson and Alice his wife died June 15, the year of our Lord, 1909 age 7 Months 29 days Ralph S. Simpson son of George V. Simpson and Alice his wife died Dec. 3^rd the year of our Lord 1920 age 4 years 4 months 18 days
On the reverse side is written: (as copied by) Rosa Simpson from old family bible which had gone to pieces from extensive use. about 1919


On a lined piece of paper folded in half is written: Wealthy. A. Simpson wife of Wm. Simpson departed this life November ^the 12 1900 Dempsey Smith the husbun of Melisa. S. Smith and Barba Smith departed this life March ^the 10, 1902 age, 61. years. 5. months and 10 days Welian [William] Simpson husbun of Welthey A Simpson departed this life November, 13. 1903.
On the other side of the folded paper is written: Barba Smith wife of Dempsay; Smith and daughter of Eligha Evans and Poley his wife departed this life May 16. in year of our lord. 19.12 age 44 years 2 months 15 days.

NOTE: The last seven entries were made by my mother, Gladys H. Simpson Bateman. The death year for William R. P. Simpson is not correct. The Social Security Death Index shows Feb. 1970. Written on the obituary is 2-8-70; and, this date was confirmed by his daughter. William Richard P. Simpson should be William Richmond Peters Simpson as his delayed birth certificate indicates. Also note that the last entry appears to be "Namie Lane" but part of the "M" was cut off during duplication. This is Mamie Belle Simpson Lane.]
