Edward "Eddie" Jurium Bordeaux

Edward "Eddie" Jurium Bordeaux was born 7 May, 1888 in the White Oak region of Bladen County.  He was the son of
Marshall William Bordeaux and Ellen Ann Johnson, both of Turnbull Creek.  Eddie, as well as 3 of his brothers, Tillet Asbury, Bishop Skidmore, and Julius Joshua, were named after Methodist ministers.  Eddie's mother, Ellen, was the daughter of Joshua Johnson, who was a Methodist minister in the Turnbull Creek area.  Eddie was less than 1 year old when his father, Marshall, died from pneumonia.

Eddie married first to Monnie B. Smith, the daughter of John Washington "Wash" Smith and Sophia Beard of White Oak.  Monnie was born 18 January, 1896.  Eddie and Monnie had 10 children.  Monnie died 10 January, 1935.

Eddie married a second time to Bessie Dowless.

Eddie died 1 April, 1952.
