KNIGHT<\/strong> of Washington, NC was in the city this week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. T.J. NORMAN<\/strong> spent last Sunday with his family at Edenton.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Miss Kate RALPH<\/strong> of Creswell is visiting her sister, <strong>Mrs. C.V.W. AUSBON.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Miss Donnie WARD<\/strong>, of Winton, is visiting our town as the guest of her uncle, <strong>Hon. H.S. WARD.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Misses Annie MIZELL<\/strong> and<strong> Blanche BARDEN<\/strong> left on Tuesday morning last for a sojourn at Asheville.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The charming <strong>Miss Mattie WILLIFORD<\/strong>, of Rocky Mount, is in the city this week as the guest of her brother&#8217;s family, <strong>Mr. A.L. WILLIFORD.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">After a pleasant visit of two weeks to her friend, <strong>Miss Vonnie LEGGETT<\/strong>, of this town, <strong>Miss Clara WEEKS<\/strong> returned to her home at E. City on Monday.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mrs. Jas. I. BRUER<\/strong> and children, of Mackey&#8217;s Ferry, and <strong>Mrs. W.O. DAVIS<\/strong> and little daughter of Creswell, spent the day in town yesterday as the guests of their sister, <strong>Mrs. C.V.W. AUSBON.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. W.M. CHESSON<\/strong>, a well known and prosperous farmer of the Mackey&#8217;s Ferry section, was in our town this week, for the first time in several years. \u00c2\u00a0He was the guest of his daughter, <strong>Mrs. T.J. LEWIS.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. W.T.
