MOORE<\/strong> and children left on Tuesday last for Ocracoke.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. and Mrs. L.L. OWENS<\/strong> returned home from Nag&#8217;s Head on Wednesday.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. Antone MARRINER<\/strong>, of Mackey&#8217;s Ferry, made our office a call while in town this week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Little <strong>Miss Helen PATTERSON<\/strong>, of Wilson, is here again, visiting her aunt, <strong>Mrs. A.L. WILLIFORD.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. C.D. LOANE<\/strong> and family left Monday for Hatteras, where Mr. LOANE is engaged in the milling business.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. A.L. BRATTEN<\/strong>, who holds a position with the Basnight Lumber Co., Tunis, N.C., is at home this week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Our sympathies are with <strong>Mrs. Jos. TUCKER<\/strong> who had the misfortune to fall and break a sinew in her foot last week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">We sympathize with <strong>Mrs. J.L. SAVAGE<\/strong> who met with the misfortune to fall out of doors on Tuesday and sprain her arm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. T.T. GARDNER<\/strong> and family returned home on Tuesday evening from a two week&#8217;s sojourn by the sea-side at Ocracoke.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Mr. T.J.
