May Session 1777

Administration is granted to Keziah Young the widow and ? of Jesse she entering into bond in the sum of one thousand pounds procl. money with Abraham Jennett and John Leary securities and took the oath of an administratrix order that the Secretary have notice that letters may issue.

August Session 1777

Keziah Young returned an inventory of Jesse Young deceased and ordered to be recorded.

Ordered that Capt. Henry Downing Thomas Mackey and Charles Johnston Esqrs. divide the estate of Jesse Young amonst the widow and the children and make return to next court.

Ordered that Keziah Young sell so much of the estate of Jesse Young deceased and make returns to the next court.

Ordered that Keziah Young be appointed guardain to the orphans of Jesse Young deceased and that she enter into bond with Abraham Jennet & John Leary security in a bond of one thousand pounds.

November Session 1777

Charles Johnston Esquire appeared in open court & exhibited the devision of the estate of Jesse Young according to law ordered to be filed.

Appeared Edmund Blount Sheriff in oppen court and returns a account of sales of the estate of Jesse Young the amount of the account is 199 pounds. 8 shillings & 11 pence ordered the same to be filed.

August Session 1778

Keziah Young exhibited her accounts in open court of the estate of Jesse Young deceased and ordered to be filed.

October Session 1779

Keziah Young returned into open court her guardain accounts on oath of the estate of Jesse Young and there appears to be a ballance due to the orphans the sum of 160 pounds - ordered to be filed.

January Session 1783

Arthur Turner exhibited into open court an account against the estate of Jesse Young deceased and there is a balance of 183 pounds & 14 pence specie due the orphans of sd Jesse Young. Ordered to be filed.

January Court 1784

Appeared in open court Henry Norman Depy Sheriff and exhibited an account of hire of a negroe man belnging to the estate of Jesse Young deceased amounting to 14 pounds & 4 shillings and ordered to be filed.

January Session 1789

Ordered that Arthur Turner guardian to the orphans of Jesse Young deceased have leave to run out the lines of the lands belonging to the said orphans agreeable to the deeds for said land.
