December Session 1763

Administration is granted to Mary Wynne on the estate of Jeremiah Wyne Esqr. & enters Joseph Alexander Esqr. & Francis Ward in the sum of one thousand pounds procla. money on motion for sails it was ordered that the afsd. Mary Wynne sell the pershable part of the estate of Jerema. Wynne deceased.

Mary Wynne exhibited an inventory of Jeremiah Wynne deceased & proved the same upon her oath.

March Session 1764

Personally appeared Joseph Hassell exhibited and proved an account of part of the perishable estate of Jeremiah Wynne amounting to the sum of 36 pounds, 17 shillings & 10 pence pro. money & proved the same on his oath ordered to be filed.

On motion of Thomas Jones atty. in behalf of Mary Wynne for sales of the perishable estate of Jeremiah Wynne deceased. Granted.

An account of sales of part of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne deceased was exhibited and proved on the oath of Isaac Hassell deputy sheriff ordered filed.

September Session 1764

Read the petition of Mary Wynne administratrix of Jeremiah Wynne deceased for sale of the perishable estate &c. Granted & to make due return to our next court.

December Session 1764

Peter Wynne exhibited an account of sales of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne and proved the same on oath ordered filed.

March Session 1765

Ordered that Mary Massey have notice to appear and give security for the guardainship of the orphans of Jeremiah Wynne deceased at our next court & settle her administration of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne Esqr. deceased.

June Session 1765

Adkins Massey & Mary Massey his wife are appointed guardains of John Wynne, Benjamin Wynne, Jeremiah Wynne, Rachell Wynne, Joseph Wynne, George Wynne orphans of Jeremiah Wynne deceased and enters Isaac Hassell and Jeremiah Swain in the sum of one thousand pound proclamation money, who are approved of by the court.

September Session 1766

On motion of Mr. John Johnston atty. on behalf of Adkins Massey & Mary his wife admors. of Jeremiah Wynne decease for aditors to settele the accounts of the sd. administration ordered Andrew Nox, Capt. Wm. Barns & Peter Wynne or either two of them adit & settle the sd. estate and repourt the same to our next court.

May Session 1769

On motion of John Pearson Esq. attorney in behalf of Adkins Massey & Mary his wife administrators of Jeremiah Wynne deceased &c to settle the account of the sd.

Adkins Massey & Mary his wife account of their administration of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne deceased inspected by John Hooker Joseph Spruill and Edward Smithwick Esquires there appears due to the orphans of the sd. Jeremiah Wynne 47 pounds, 3 shillings & 1 pence which was allowed ordered recorded and filed.

May Session 1770

On motion of Mr. Thomas Jones atty. in behalf of John Wynne orphan of Jeremiah Wynne deceased who chooses Joseph Spruill guardain of his person & estate ordered to give bond and security of four hundred pounds tenders Benjamin Spruill Joseph Norman who are approved of by the court.

Ordered that an account of Adkins Massey & Mary his wife admr. of Jerm. Wynne exhibited into the court &c on motion of Mr. Thomas Jones atty. in behalf of the orphan of Jerem. Wynne deceased have leave to take out the aforsd. acct. to rectifying several mistakes &c ordred that Adkins Massey & Mary his wife administrators of Jeremiah Wynne deceased be summoned to appear with all their records & vouchers relating to their administration.

August Session 1770

Ordered that summon issue against Adkins Massey & Mary his wife to shew cause why they shall not be discharged from the guardinship of the orphans of Jeremiah Wynne.

November Session 1770

On motion of Mr. Thomas Jones it is ordered that Giles Long James Long Edward Smithwick Esqr. audit the accounts of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne deeased as exhibited by Adkins Massey & Mary his wife & report the same to the next court.

On motion of Mr. Thomas Jones in behalf of the orphans of Jeremiah Wynne deceased ordered that the Adkins Massey & Mary his wife security.

Report returned of the account of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne by the auditors ordered filed.

On motion of Mr. Thomas Jones attorney at law ordered that Giles Long, James Long & Edward Smithwick Esqrs. or any two of them divide the estate of Mr. Jeremiah Wynne deceased according to the act of distribution & return the same to next court.

May Session 1771

Giles Long and James Long exhibited a division of the estate of Jeremiah Wynne deceased and ordered filed.

August Session 1774

Ordered that John Wynn be appointed guardian of Joseph Wynn & George Wynn orphans of Jeremiah Wynn deceased & he entered into bond with Peter Wynn & John Tarkington in the sum of two hundred pounds.

July Session 1782

Ordered that Adkinson Massey former guardian of George Wynne & Joseph Wynne deliver the property of sd. Wynnes to John Wynne which he has kept back these several years past.
