Weatherly, John, 1846
Bond dated 26 Jan 1846 in the amount of $400 appointing Luther Babbit administrator of the estate of John Weatherly deceased, Chas. McClees & S. S. Simmons securities.
Petition July Term 1849 of Luther Babbit, administrator of John Weatherly deceased, who shows that there are assets in his hands amounting to about $60 but the debts of the estate exceed the assets. Petitioner further shows that said Weatherly died seized and possessed of 40 acres in the Jones & Pool patent joining Thomas Swain, Thomas White and others which lands have descended to his heirs, John Jones & Susan Jones, who he understands are infants of tender years and nonresidents of the state. Petitioner understands he is entitled to have the balance of the debts of the estate satisfied out of said lands. He prays judgement and execution against said land.
