April Session 1782

Sarah Woodland appeared in open court and prayed administration on the estate of Thos. Williams deceased granted.

Sarah Woodland appeared in open court and quallified administratrix on the estate of Thos. Williams and gave in security Ebenezer Spruill & James Dillin in a bond of 50 pounds specie.

Ordered that Sarah Woodland sell the perishable part of the estate of Thos. Williams and make returns to next court.

January Session 1783

Sarah Woodland exhibited into open court an account of sales of Thos. Williams deceased estate and ordered to be filed.

Unreadable (faded) bond in April 1782 term appointing Sarah Woodland administratrix of an estate. Securities are Ebenezer Spruill & James Dillon.


Transcriber's Notes:

See the will of Samuel Woodland written in 1777. Lists a Thomas Williams as son in law and his wife is named Sarah {probably the Sarah Woodland who is administratrix of Thomas Williams}.
