Webb, Wilson, 1807


Note signed at Edenton on 18 April 1806 in which, for value received, Henry Starr promises to pay Wilson Webb the sum of $117 before the first day of August ensuing.

Summons dated the fourth Monday in January 1807 for Henry Starr to appear in court on the fourth Monday of April next to answer unto Moses Webb administrator with the will annexed of Wilson Webb deceased that he render unto him $117 of the value of 58 pounds, 10 shillings which from him he unjustly detains to his damage 50 pounds.

Petition of Moses Webb administrator with will annexed of Wilson Webb complaining that Henry Starr borrowed $117 (value of 58 pounds, ten shillings) by note from Wilson Webb and refuses to pay it back. He states that he is entitled to bring suit.

Summons dated the fourth Monday in July 1807 for Robert Wynne Esq. to appear in court on the fourth Monday in October next to testify on behalf of Wilson Webb's administrator in a case wherein they are plaintiff and Henry Starr is defendant.
