July Session 1800

Ordered that James Hoskins have leave of administration of the estate of Kinchen Taylor deceased and hath given bond in the some of seven hundred and fifty pounds Abner Alexander Esqr. and Saml. Spruill Esquire securities.

Ordered Jas. Hoskins have leave to sell the perishable part of the estate of Kinchen Taylor deceased and make returns to next court.

October Session 1800

Robert Wynne Esquire John Murphy and Benjamin Spruill Entry Taker was appointed to lay off the dower of Deborough Taylor agreeable to petition and make returns to next court.

January Session 1801

Robert Wynne Esqr. returns into court the dower allotted to Deborah Taylor for her support to amount to 38 pounds, 12 shillings & 6 pence ordered filed.

Ordered that Deborah Taylor be allowed 38 pounds, 12 shillings & 6 pence out of the estate of Kinchen Taylor for the support of her & two children for one year, order & account filed.

April Session 1801

Ordered that the Sheriff be directe to summons a jury of 12 good & lawfull men to lay off the dower of Deboroush Taylor and that Abner Alexander John Murphy & Robert Wynne Esquires be appointe to audite and settle the accounts of James Hoskins with the estate of the said Kinchen Taylor and make returns to next court.

July Session 1801

The jurors appointed to lay off the dower of Deborah Taylor returns into court her said allowance & ordered filed.

January Session 1802

Ordered that Robert Wynne Moses Cator and Abner Alexander Esqrs. be appointed to audite & settle the account of James Hoskins vs. the estate of Kinchen Taylor and make return to next court.

April Session 1802

Robert Wynne Esqr. returns in court the audited account of the estate of Kinchen Taylor with the administrator & find a ballance due the estate of 5 pounds, 5 shillings & 9 pence ordered filed.

January Session 1803

Ordered that the former audited account of the estate of Kinchen Taylor be set a side and that the said accounts be reaudited by Abner Alexander Robt. Wynne and M. E. Cator Esqrs. and returns made to next court.

April Session 1803

James Hoskins returned in court the audited account of himself vs. the estate of Kinchen Taylor deceased wherein a ballance is found due the administrator of 16 pounds, 16 shillings & 8 pence filed.

Laying off of the widow's thirds of the lands of Kinchen Taylor deceased to his widow Deborah Taylor dated 17 Jul 1808.

Several judgements against the estate of Kinchen Taylor that were served on his orphans, but they are not named.
