May Session 1808

Ordered that Betsy Twiddy have leave of administration on the estate of John Twiddy her deceased husband and has entered into bond in the sum of 250 pounds Joshua Swain and Jesse Swain her securities justices present Joseph Ansley John A. Patrick & Henry Alexander.

Ordered that Paul Thoroughgood Esqr. Jno. A. Melson Thomas Garrett and John Alexander be appointed to lay off the years allowance of the widdow of John Twiddy deceased out of his estate and make return to next court.

Ordered that Betsy Twiddy have leave to sell the movable estate of John Twiddy and make return next court.

November Session 1808

Ordered that Betsy Twiddy have leave to sell so much of the lands of John Twiddy deceased as will be suficient to pay the ballance of the debts as it appears there is not chattel property sufficient for that purpose justices on the bench Henry Alexander Paul Thoroughgood and Joseph Ansley Esquires when the order was made.

Paul Thoroughgood Esqr. returned in court the audited account between the heirs of John Twiddy and the administratrix and find a ballance due the administratrix of 3 pounds, 11 shillings & 11 pence.

June Session 1809

Betsy Twiddy returned in court on oath an account of sale of the land of John Twiddy amount 50 pounds.
