Bond dated 18 Feb 1854 in the amount of $400 appointing John A. Cooper special administrator of the estate of Geo. Taff deceased, Benjamin S. Basnight & Saml. McCleese securities.
Bond dated 24 Apr 1854 in the amount of $1,000 appointing John A. Cooper administrator of the estate of George W. Taff deceased, Samuel McClees & Benjamin S. Basnight securities.
Petition April Term 1854 of Affy Taff widow of George W. Taff who shows that her husband died intestate since the last term of this court. She prays to have her year's allowance layed off to her according to law.
Laying off of the year's allowance of Affy Taff out of the estate of Geo. W. Taff on 18 Jul 1854 by A. H. Smith J. P. and Daniel W. Roughton, John Roughton Junr. & James Sawyer. They found no crop, stock or provisions on hand and assessed $84 for the deficiency.
