Bond dated 26 Oct 1846 in the amount of $2,000 appointing George A. Sawyer administrator of the estate of George Sawyer deceased, Abner Sawyer & Luther Babbit securities.
Petition October Term 1846 of Margaret Sawyer, widow of George Sawyer deceased, who shows that her husband died recently possessed of considerable personal property out of which she is entitled to a year's provision for herself and family. She prays the same be decreed.
Laying off of the year's provision of Peggy Sawyer, widow of George Sawyer deceased, on 11 Nov 1846 by Charles McClees, Fredk. Patrick, Bartlet Jones Senr. & Ash B. Liverman.
Court order on the 4th Monday in January 1847 for the Sheriff to summon a jury and lay off the dower of Margaret Sawyer in the lands of her deceased husband, George Sawyer.
Petition January Term 1847 of Margaret Sawyer, widow of George Sawyer who shows that her husband died recently seized and possessed of a tract of about 87 acres joining Seymore Sawyer out of which she is advised she is entitled to dower, She prays a decree to lay off her dower.
Laying off of the dower of Margaret Sawyer, widow of George Sawyer deceased, in the lans of her deceased husband on 26 Feb 1847 by Samuel A. Truit, Thos. J. Cooper, Jesse Sikes, Chas. McClees, Bartlet Jones, Timothy Jones, Bartlet Jones Junr., Fredk. Patrick, Luther Babbitt, F. E. Alfred, Elikim Swain & Midget Spencer. She received 1/3rd of a 72 acre tract joining Alfred including the dwelling and outhouses.
Petition October Term 1847 of George A. Sawyer, John Jones and wife Affa, Franklin B. Weatherly and wife Eleanor, Russel Armstrong and wife Ruthy & Seymor Sawyer vs. Joab J. Sawyer & Tamer Sawyer, infants of tender years. Petitioners show that they togerher with said Joab J. & Tamer are tenants in common of 72 acres joining Frederick Alfred, Joab Sawyer, the Frying Pan Swamp, Charles McClees and the main road. The said George is entitled to 2/8 of said land and the remaining petitioners and the said Joab J. Sawyer & Tamer Sawyer to 1/8 each. Petitioners pray an order for division of said land.

Lot 1 is 1/8th and was set off to Semore Sawyer and since it is of best quality he pays the other heirs $33.33.
Lot 2 was set off to Russel Armstrong & wife.
Lot 3 to George A. Sawyer and as they are on the widow's dower and George's includes the dwelling house he pays to Russel
Armstrong and wife $24.
Lot 4 to Joab Sawyer.
Lot 5 to F. P. Wetherly and wife.
Lot 6 to John McDaniel and wife.
Lot 7 to John Jones and wife.
Lot 8 to Tamar Sawyer.
Bond dated 24 Apr 1848 in the amount of $400 appointing George A. Sawyer guardiam of Tamer Sawyer orphan of George Sawyer deceased, Bartlet Jones Junr. & Jerome B. Sawyer securities.
