I Joseph Swain this is my last will & testament and I give up my soul and body unto the hands of God heretofore mentioned as folos bequeath and I do herby give and bequeath unto my dear beloved wife Esther Swain my plantation which contains one hundred and ninety six acres of land and as folases heretoforee mentiond my movable property I wish for my dear beloved wife Esther Swain to sell enough of to pay my just debts. I Joseph Swain do hereby give sole and body up into the hands of Lorde thy God, further more I give bequeath unto my beloved wife Esther Swain the movable property in dores and oute dores and my possessions after paying my just debts and this being my last will and testament in witness I set my hand and seal the 20th day of our Lord Septemb. 1833 wife Esther Swain as Administratior.

The last will and testament of Jos. Swain was exhibited in open court and proved by the oath of Asa Prichet one of the subscribing witnesses thereto at the same {time} appeared Esther Swain and qualified executor thereto.
