Bond dated 23 Jul 1843 in the amount of $500 appointing D. S. Godfrey administrator of the estate of John Simmons deceased, S. S. Simmons & Edward Halstead securities.
Petition October Term 1844 by Rebecca Simmons, widow of John Simmons deceased, who states that her said husband departed this life intestate about 1 Jul 1844 and administration on his estate was granted to Dempsey S. Godfrey. She prays her year's allowance be allotted to her.
There are also a few documents concerning a debt to Caleb Walker.
