July Session 1842
Ordered that Benjamin Sikes administer on the estate of William Simmons deceased and that he enter into bond of one thousand dollars with Ash B. Simmons & Frederick Patrick securities.
January Session 1843
Ordered that Fredk. Patrick, Jordan S. Jones & John Sikes lay off the years allowance of Charlotte Simmons widow of William Simmons deceased.

Bond dated 25 Jul 1842 in the amount of $1,000 appointing Benjn. Sikes administrator of the estate of William Simmons deceased, Ash B. Liverman & Fredk. Patrick securities.
Note dated 11 Aug 1842 from Obediah Chambers, Benjamin Chambers & John Sawyer for a debt of $13.70 for value received from Benjamin Sikes, administrator of William Simmons deceased. Witnessed by Jordan L. Jones.
Bond dated 26 Jan 1846 in the amount of $200 appointing Chas. McClees administrator of the estate of William Simmons deceased, Ashel Sikes & T. L. Cooper securities.
Execution dated January Term 1847 and issued 1 Mar 1847 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of William Simmons for [amount faded] with interest from 16 May 1841 recovered against him by Peleg M. Simmons, of which C. McClees administrator of William Simmons is liable. There are two tracts of land, one lying on the road joining Ashel Sikes and the other being swamp lying on or near the Pan. Satisfied by sale of land at April Term 1847.
