Bond dated 9 Feb 1850 in the amount of $4,000 appointing Jos. Alexander administrator of the estate of Samuel G. Salyear deceased, J. L. jones, F. J. Davenport & Silas Davenport securities.

Bond dated 23 Apr 1850 in the amount of $4,000 appointing Jos. Alexander administrator of the estate of Samuel G. Salyear deceased, Charles McClees & James F. Davenport securities.

Bond dated 27 Jan 1851 in the amount of $2,000 appointing James Forbes administrator de bonis non of the estate of Samuel G. Salyear deceased, Saml. Leigh, John McClees & Jesse McClees securities.

Petition January Term 1851 of James Forbes as administrator of Samuel G. Salyear who shows that some years since Jos. Alexander duly administered upon said Salyear's estate. He further shows that said Alexander is now dead having sold said Salyear's personalty and not having settled the estate, he having a large amount of assets not administered. Petitioner has been appointed administrator of said salyear at this term of court and H. G. Spruill is administrator of Jos. Alexander. Petitioner has called on said Spruill but he refuses without a court order to protect him. He prays a decree for settlement.

Account of the estate of Samuel G. Salyear with the administrator, Jos. Alexander, examined by Saml. McClees on 27 Oct 1851. He finds the balance due the estate of Salyear from the estate of Jos. Alexander to be $650.65 with interest calculated to 4 Mar 1851.
