He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jenny Godwin of Portsmouth, Va., Mrs. Ella Weatherly, of Kill Devil Hills, and Mrs. Beatrice Owen, of Columbia;....." Mrs. Ella Weatherly was a daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Sadie Snell Roughton and wife of Leon R. Weatherly.......three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Lindholm of Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Genevieve Swain of Columbia and Mrs. Josie Ann Barnes of Portsmouth, Va.; a son, Orville Weatherly of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Owens and Mrs. Jennie Godwin of Portsmouth". Mrs. Mary Basnight...daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Snell....survived by her husband, Joseph Basnight; one son, Dennis Basnight; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Roughton of Fort Landing, Mrs Clyde Harrell and Mrs. Jim Harrell of Columbia; three brothers, Ben Snell, Gus Snell and Henry Snell all of Columbia.....".
