Petition April Term 1850 of Zeppa Patrick, widow of the late Wm. Patrick deceased who died intestate leaving petitioner wholly unprovided for. She prays an order to lay off her year's provisions from the estate.

Court order April Term 1850 for the laying off of the year's provisions of Zeppa Patrick, widow of William Patrick deceased by Charles McClees J. P. and Elikim Swain, Franklin Liverman & Bartlet Jones Senr..

Laying off of the year's provision for Zephy Patrick, widow of William Patrick, on 19 Jul 1850 by Charles McCless, Bartlet Jones & Frederick Liverman.

Bond dated 28 Jan 1851 in the amount of $500 appointing Robert A. Shield administrator of the estate of William Patrick deceased, J. L. Jones & Jesse Sikes securities.

Petition April Term 1853 of Zippah Patrick who states that she is the widow of William Patrick who died intestate in 1851 seized and possessed of two tracts of land, one joining Jno. Neal & Hezekiah Liverman and the other joining John Cooper and others on Great Alligator River in which she is entitled to dower. Petitioner and Thomas Wetherly are now in possession, he having come into possession under an administrator's sale and now refuses his consent for her dower and further even for her continued residence thereon. Petitioner prays a writ of dower.

Decree of the court upon the petition April Term 1853 of Zeppah Patrick against Samuel McClees guardian ad litem to the infant heirs of William Patrick. By the court decreed that the clerk issue a writ of dower to the Sheriff and her dower be layed off in the two tracts of land described in the petition.

Laying off of the dower of Zepah Patrick in the land of her decesed husband, William Patrick, on 21 Dec 1853 by Tully Davenport Sheriff and Jordan L. Jones, B. F. Sikes, J. A. Truett, Thos. Jones, Silas Davenport, Franklin Liverman, Luther Babbitt, Fred Liverman, Ashbee Jones, Bartlet Jones Senr., Timothy Jones & George W. Simmons. She received 40 acres joining the main road.

The 1850 Census of Tyrrell County shows the household of Zeppy Patrick (41), Sarah Patrick (10), Franklin Patrick (7), Andosia Patrick (5) and Elizabeth Patrick (2).
