July Session 1841

Ordered that James J. Pledger administer on the estate of Abram Pledger deceased and that he enter into bond of six thousand dollars with Thomas B. Midyett & Jeremiah Weskett securities.

January Session 1842

James I. Pledger returned the account of sales of the property belonging to the estate of Abram Pledger deceased.

James I. Pledger returned an inventory of notes and accounts belonging to the estate of Abram Pledger deceased.

Note dated 25 Oct 1842 wherein E. & S. Simmons promise to pay James J. Pledger, administrator of Abraham Pledger deceased, the amount of $109.36 for value received 11 months after this date. There is also a summons and an execution against Edmond & Saml. S. Simmons in connection with this debt.

Refunding bond dated 4 Nov 1843 in the amount of $1,568.56 by John Hoskins. The condition of the obligation is that whereas James J. Pledger, administrator of the estate of Abraham Pledger deceased, has paid over to John Hoskins in right of his wife, Mary, $781.78, being his portion of said estate. In the event any further debts or accounts arise against the estate of Abraham Pledger, the above bound John Hoskins shall pay his ratable portion of the same, then the above obligation is void.

Refunding bond dated 4 Nov 1843 in the amount of $1,568.56 by Benjamin Hoskins. The condition of the obligation is that whereas James J. Pledger, administrator of the estate of Abraham Pledger deceased, has paid over to Benjamin hoskins in right of his wife, Sally, $781.78, being his portion of said estate. In the event any further debts or accounts arise against the estate of Abraham Pledger, the above bound Benjamin Hoskins shall pay his ratable portion of the same, then the above obligation is void.
