Norman, Samuel, 1852
Execution dated the 4th Monday in April 1852 and issued 9 Jun 1852 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of Saml. Norman in the hands of his administrator, Chas. Latham, for $355.70 which was recovered against him by John Nickles for debt, interest & costs.

Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of Samuel Norman to Sally Tarkinton on 26 Oct 1840, Jas. A. Spruill security.
With Charles Latham as administrator it is probable that Samuel Norman resided in Washington County at his death. It is also probable that the death of Samuel Norman occurred before the 1850 census was taken. The following family in the 1850 Census of Washington County could possibly be the widow and family of Samuel Norman: Sarah Norman (39), Sarah F. Norman (8), William W. Norman (4) and Jos. H. Tarkinton (15).
