Original Will
15 July 1694


In the name of God amen I Daniell Makee being very sick and [?] but of perfect judgement and sound memory trusting that thro the blood shed by my blessed savior and his continuall [?] for my sins to be received into eternal bliss after this vale of misery which I now sustain shall be ended I make this my last will and testament revoking all former writings whatsoever In primis I give and bequeth my soul to God its creator and preserver of it and my body decently to be buried at ye discretion of my loving wife Elenor Makee Item I give and bequeath my worldly estate in manner and form following (vizt.) I give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Elinor Makee and her heirs executors administrators or assigns for ever my plantation at Alligator River in the abovesaid province together with four cows and calves and all the male cattle running on the said plantation and as to what cows and calves excepting what is above excepted I will and bequeath that they be equally divided amongst my loveing children Daniell Makee Catherin Makee Elinor Makee and John Makee Item I give and bequeth one iron pot and a whole set of carpenters tools unto my son Daniel Makee and the remaining part of my whole estate both real and personal I give and bequeath unto my loveing wife Elinor Makee and her heirs for ever hereby appointing my said loveing wife Elinor Makee to be my whole and sole executrix to see that this my last will & testament be truely and faithfully performed witness my hand and seal this fifteenth day of July 1694.
