McClees, Nancy, 1848
Petition October Term 1848 by John McClees, Jesse McClees, Joseph McClees, Henry McClees & William McClees against Nelson McClees & Betsey McClees heirs at law of Nancy McClees deceased. Petitioners show they are tenants in common of about 13 or 14 negros which were inherited by the death of Nancy McClees deceased. They pray a division of said negros.
Petition October Term 1848 by John McClees, Jesse McClees, Joseph McClees, Henry McClees, William McClees and Nelson McClees & Elizabeth McClees by their guardian John McClees, heirs at law of Nancy McClees deceased. Petitioners show they are tenants in common of about 5 negros which were inherited by the death of Nancy McClees deceased. They pray a division of said negros but an equal division can not be made without a sale which they pray the court will order.
