Copies of the pages from the Litchfield Family Bible were given to the Tyrrell County Genealogy Society by Jeanne Schlegel. The entries have been transcribed here exactly as they appear on the copies, however the order of the Marriage, Birth and Death entries may differ from that in the Bible. When duplicate entries occur, the entry with the most information is included. Most of the handwriting and ink is identical leading one to conclude that most of the entries in this Bible were copied from another source sometime after 1888. Someone had placed some comments about
the relationship of individuals after the original entry. Some of these relationships are included in parenthesis.
