Fanning, John H., 1846
Bond dated 21 Dec 1846 in the amount of $1,000 appointing Thomas B. Myers special administrator of the estate of John H. Fanning deceased, James Swain & Jos. Alexander securities.
Bond dated 25 Jan 1847 in the amount of $200 appointing Thomas B. Myers administrator of the estate of John H. Fanning deceased, S. S. Simmons security.
Petition January Term 1847 by Thomas B. Myers, administrator of John H. Fanning who states that he administers at the present term of this court on the estate of the said Fanning as a creditor and that there are not sufficient assets to pay off his debts. He further shows that lands descended to his heirs at law viz. James Swain and his wife Milly, said Milly being his daughter, and to Thomas, [blank], Mary, Nancy, Jain & Jno. Myers, said Swain and wife inheriting in right of his wife and the other defendants who are issue of another child and entitled to one half each. He is entitled to satisfaction of the residue of his debt after applying the assets in hand and then out of the lands. He prays a judgement against the lands after the residue of debt is ascertained.
Bond dated 23 Oct 1848 in the amount of $120 appointing James A. Swain administrator of the estate of John H. Fanning deceased, Soloman Hassell & Wm. G. Armstrong securities.
