Cooper, Priscilla, 1854
Bond dated 24 Apr 1854 in the amount of $200 appointing James Brickhouse administrator of the estate of Priscilla Cooper deceased, Jesse Sanderson & W. W. Walker securities.
Petition July Term 1854 of James Brickhouse, administrator of the estate of Priscilla Cooper, who shows that he has assets of about $50 from the personal estate of his intestate, which is all that will come into his hands without the sale of lands, and the intestate was indebted to the amount of $75. At her death the intestate was seized in fee simple of about 35 acres joining John Rhodes, B. B. Brickhouse & Simeon Rhodes whereon she lived and died. The intestate left as her next of kin and heirs at law six children viz. John Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Allen Cooper, Mahala Cooper, now the wife of Uri Spruill, Penny Cooper, now the wife of Richard Holloway and Priscilla Cooper, now the wife of Matthew L. Brickhouse. Petitioner prays process and sale of said land.
