Bond dated 24 Apr 1854 in the amount of $25,000 appointing Chas. McClees administrator of the estate of Major Brickhouse deceased, S. S. Simmons & James F. Davenport securities.
This is a large file filled with many court documents dealing with debts owed by and to the estate and recovery of these debts. Many of these debts were to companies, not individuals, indicating extensive business interests.
