Deed of gift from John Morgan to Jacob Flowers
I, John Morgan, of the county of Orange, for and in consideration of the love and good will which I have for Jacob Flowers of
the same county, do grant to him and his heirs, the following named negroes, Abram, Dinah, Rachel and Isaac, two horses
and forty-four cows and calves and four ewes and lambs.  Given under my hand this 6th day of March, 1788.

I, John Morgan, of the county of Orange, for and in consideration of the love and good will which I have for Jacob Flowers of
the same county, do grant to him, three tracts of land lying in Orange and Chatham counties, on Cub Creek, the waters
of Newhope, containing in the whole, one thousand four hundred and ninety acres. Given under my hand this 10th day of
March, 1788, signed John Morgan.
