North Carolina Slave Deed Index
A listing of Collections which have been compiled by North Carolina County Register of Deeds and other Resources

A number of NC Counties have created databases with the names of enslaved people as abstracted from various documents, mostly deeds and wills, and have made them available to the public. Some county lists include links to the actual documents, so be sure to look at those, too.
