Vaughn) and William (m) age 9. In terms of real estate or personal estate, she possesses no declarable income. In the Census of 1880, for Coopers Twp., in Nash County, Elizabeth Vaughn Proctor lived with her daughter Jane and son-in-law Wiley Parker. No one in the household can read or write except Wiley Parker who can read but not write. Her son William Proctor is living with his Uncle John Hodge Vaughan in a household that contains his grandparents Jason and Sallie Vaughn, Aunt Mary A. and cousin John W. Vaughn. In the Census of 1900, she is living with her daughter Louisa and her husband James Vaughn and their family. In 1902, Elizabeth Vaughn Proctor applied to the State of North Carolina for a Widow’s Pension for his service in the Civil War. By 1910, Elizabeth, who is 76 years old, has lost three of her four children and is living in Franklin County with her only surviving child Louisa “Lou” Proctor Vaughan and her husband J.
