G. WHELESS and S. S. SYKES\u00a0 the subscribing witnesses  thereto: who, being duly sworn, doth depose and say, and each for himself  deposeth and saith that he is a subscribing witness to the paper writing  now shown him, purporting to be the last will and testament of ELIZABETH\u00a0  RICHARDSON; that the said ELIZABETH RICHARDSON, in the presence of this  deponent, subscribed her name at the end of said paper writing, which  is now shown as aforesaid, and which bears date of the 30th day of March  1883.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And the deponent further saith,  that the said ELIZABETH RICHARDSON the testator aforesaid, did, at the  time of subscribing her name as aforesaid, declare the said paper-writing  so subscribed by her and exhibited, to be her Last Will and Testament,  and this deponent did thereupon subscribe her name at the end of said  Will as an attesting witness thereto, and at the request and in the  presence of the said testator.\u00a0 And this deponent further saith,  that at the said time when the said testator subscribed her name to  the said last Will as aforesaid, and at the time of deponent\u2019s subscribing  his name as an attesting witness thereto, as aforesaid, the said ELIZABETH  RICHARDSON was of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a will,  and was not under any restraint to the knowledge, information or belief  of this deponent: And further these deponents say not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">S. S. SYKES<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">W. G. WHELESS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Severally Sworn and subscribed  this 20<sup>th<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">day of July 1883,  before me<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">JNO. T. MORGAN<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Probate Judge<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">In the name of God, Amen, I  ELIZABETH RICHARDSON of the County of Nash and State of North Carolina  being feeble in health of body, and sound of mind, memory and understanding,  praise be God for the same do make this my last will and testament,  in manner and form following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">First- That my executors, hereinafter  named, shall provide for my body a decent burial, suitable to the wishes  of my relatives and friends, and pay all funeral expenses, together  with my just debts, howsoever and to whomsoever owing, out of the moneys  that may first come in to their hands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item 1<sup>st<\/sup> -I  give and devise to HAYWOOD RICHARDSON\u2019s child NICKODEMUS RICHARDSON  one Bedstead, 1 Blue Painted chest, one Red three year old heifer &amp;  one Kettle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item 2<sup>nd<\/sup> &#8211;  I give to PETER RICHARDSON\u2019s children one white Pine chest, and my  every day wearing clothing, with the exception of two dresses, which  I have specified and made known to MARGRET RICHARDSON, these two dresses.\u00a0\u00a0  I give to EPSEY &amp; SUSAN LOUCUST together with some finer clothing  which is also specified, and made known to MARGRET. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I give to ANNA ELIZABETH RICHARDSON  one oxen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I give to PETER RICHARDSON\u2019s  four girl children one bed quilt each, which I call my every day quilts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I give to ELIZABETH PETTAFORD  my black cloth cloak, and one white earthen Bowl.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I give to WINNY PETTAFORD one  white earthen Bowl.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I give to TONEY RICHARDSON  one over coat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I give to MARGRET RICHARDSON  the balance of my entire estate of whatsoever it may consist of after  taking out the above named devises &amp;c and paying my just debts &amp;  burial expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And lastly, I do hereby constitute  and appoint my trusty friends to execute this my last will and testament,  JAMES RICHARDSON and MARGRET RICHARDSON his wife according to the true  intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause thereof, hereby  revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by  me heretofore made.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">In witness whereof, I the said  ELIZABETH RICHARDSON do hereunto set my hand and seal this 30<sup>th<\/sup> day of March A.
