G. WHELESS, the Executor thereon named, and the due execution  thereof by the said GIDEON RICHARDSON\u00a0 by the oath and examination  of the subscribing witnesses thereto; who being duly sworn, do depose  and say, and each for himself deposeth and saith, that he is a subscribing  witness to the paper writing now shown him purporting to be last will  and testament of GIDEON RICHARDSON.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">That the said GIDEON RICHARDSON  in the presence of these deponents subscribed ___ name at the end of  said paper writing, which is now shown as aforesaid, and bears date  of the 6th day of Nov. 1875.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And the deponents,  further  saith, that the said GIDEON RICHARDSON, the testator aforesaid, did,  at the time of subscribing their name as aforesaid, declare the said  paper writing so subscribed by them and exhibited to be his last Will  and Testament, and these deponents did thereupon subscribe their names  at the end of said Will as\u00a0 attesting witnesses thereto, and at  the request, and in the presence of the said Testator.\u00a0 And these  deponents, further saith, that at the said time when the said Testator  subscribed their names to the said last Will as aforesaid, and at the  time of deponents subscribing their names, as attesting witnesses thereto  as aforesaid, the said GIDEON RICHARDSON was of sound mind and memory,  of full age to execute a Will, and was not under any restraint to the  knowledge, information or belief of these deponents, and further these  deponents say not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">WM. G. WHELESS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">J. B. BOONE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Severally sworn and subscribed  this 11 day of October 1880 before me,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">BENJ. H. SORSBY<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Probate Judge<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">In the name of God, Amen, I  GIDEON RICHARDSON of the county of Nash, and State of North Carolina  being of sound mind and memory, but considering the uncertainty of my  earthly existence do make and declare this my last Will and Testament.  In manner and form following that is to Say:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">First \u2013 That my executor,  herein after named, shall provide for my body a decent burial, suitable  to the wishes of my relatives and friends, and pay all funeral expenses,  together with my just debts, howsoever and to whomsoever owing, out  of the moneys that may first come into his hands as a part or parcel  of my estate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item:\u00a0 I lend to my beloved  wife ELIZABETH RICHARDSON, all of my tract of land on which I now live  and known as my home tract, together with my mansion house, all out  houses and other improvements, to have and to hold to her the said ELIZABETH  RICHARDSON for and during the term of her natural life, or widowhood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item-\u00a0 I give and devise  to my beloved wife, and grandaughter MARGRET VICK all the remaining  parting of my personal property after deducting the amount of twenty  dollars from it, which amount I give and devise to OLIVE RICHARDSON,  the personal property conveyed here includes all the horses, catle,  Hogs, Sheep, House hold &amp; Kitchen furniture farming implements,  provisions on hand and growing crop, money on hand, notes, accounts  &amp;c.\u00a0 the expenses of settling my estate is first to be paid  out of said property, and then the remainder is to be equally divided  between my beloved wife ELIZABETH RICHARDSON and my Grandaughter MARGRET  VICK.\u00a0\u00a0 My wife and MARGRET VICK has Some property of their  own which is not included here.\u00a0 ELIZABETH RICHARDSON\u2019s property  consist of two Bedsteads, one Bed &amp; furniture, one chest &amp; one  table, and MARGRET VICK\u2019s property consist of two Bedsteads, one Bed\u00a0  eight chairs\u00a0 two pans, one spider, one skillet, and all other  little articles that was brought here by her farther. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item &#8211;\u00a0 I lend to my Son  BALDY RICHARDSON fifty acres of land during his natural life, the place  which he now lives at.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item:\u00a0 I lend to my Son  ROBERT RICHARDSON fifty acres of land the place he now resides on during  his natural life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item:\u00a0 I lend to my Son  PRESLEY RICHARDSON fifty acres of land during his natural life, the  place on which he now resides.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item:\u00a0 I lend to my Son  PETER RICHARDSON fifty acres of land during his natural life the place  he now resides on and I also give to PETER my brandy still and fixtures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Item:\u00a0 After the death  of my beloved wife, all of my land including that which I have loaned  my Sons, is to be the thrown together, and to be equally divided among  my four Sons herein named and my Grandaughter MARGARETT VICK all of  said land herein mentioned, I lend my four Sons and Grandaughter during  their natural lives, bodily heirs, and in case any of my Sons or Grandaughter,  dies leaving no bodily heirs then their part of my land goes back to  the bodily heirs of the others herein named.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And lastly, I do hereby constitute  and appoint my trusty friend WM. G. WHELESS my lawful executor to all  intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according  to the true intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause  thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void, all other wills  and testaments by me heretofore made.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">In witness whereof, I, the  said GIDEON RICHARDSON do hereunto set my hand and Seal this the 6<sup>th<\/sup> day of November A.D. 1875<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">GIDEON RICHARDSON (\u201cX\u201d  his mark)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Signed, Sealed, published and  declared by me the Said GIDEON RICHARDSON to be his last will and testament,  in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence do Subscribe  our names as witnesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">WILLIAM G.
