Meadows\u00a0one part and Bartholomew Meadows of the other part  That I William H Meadows\u00a0do this day bargain sell unto Bartholomew Meadows a sertain (certain) tract of\u00a0land devised to me by my father adjoining the said Bartholomew Meadows Hardy\u00a0Mundine Hardy Collins &amp; Simmons Collins  Containing one hundred and fifty\u00a0acres by estimation be it more or lef (less) with the exception of a small part of\u00a0said land about one quarty of an acre which is now accepted for a grave yard at\u00a0said Bartholomew Meadows and neighbors can have the privilege of burying there\u00a0if they see proper for in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to me in\u00a0hand paid by the said Barth Meadows the right and title of said land I ever warrant\u00a0and defend unto said Bartholomew Meadows his heirs and (?)assign forever  I\u00a0have (?) set my hand and seal the 2nd day of March 1830<\/p>\n<p>Signed Seale in present of\u00a0Daniel Dickrow (?Dickson) &amp;\u00a0Charles Hurdue<\/p>\n<p>State of North Carolina<\/p>\n<p>Jones County Court March term 1831<\/p>\n<p>There was the above deed duly proved in open court by the oath of Daniel\u00a0Dickrow one of the subscribed witnesses and ordered\u00a0to be recorded<\/p>\n<p>Test H Bryan CC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Transcribed by Cindy Lang Jones County Book 18, Page 315, March term 1831 State of North Carolina Jones County Know all men by these present that indenture made between William H.
