{"id":511,"date":"2009-09-07T20:08:51","date_gmt":"2009-09-08T02:08:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ncgenweb.us\/jones\/?page_id=511"},"modified":"2009-09-07T20:08:51","modified_gmt":"2009-09-08T02:08:51","slug":"ball-mundine","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ncgenweb.us\/jones\/deed-recs\/ball-mundine","title":{"rendered":"Nathan Ball to Kittrell Mundine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center; \"><em>Transcribed by <\/em><a href=\"\/jones\/contributors\"><em>Cindy Lang<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Transcribers note: Where is this church today &amp; what is it called?<\/p>\n<p>North Carolina<\/p>\n<p>Jones County Deed Book G pages 287, 288<\/p>\n<p>This indenture made this 25th day of July, 1786 between Kittrell Mundine\u00a0Commissioner for the society of the Baptist Church and Nathan Ball of the\u00a0other part Note that for and in consideration of the natural good will to the\u00a0aforesaid church that I Nathan Ball hath given granted &amp; by these present\u00a0do give &amp; grant unto the aforesaid Kittrell Mundine in behalf of the foresaid\u00a0church one half acre of land lying and being in the county of Jones stated\u00a0aforesaid for the use of said church bounded as follows Note, beginning at\u00a0a pine standing by the side of county road the south side, thence running\u00a0up the road eight poles thence a straight course from the road a square ten\u00a0poles, thence eight poles a square to a black jack marked from hence 10\u00a0poles to the first station a pine by the side of the county road, which land\u00a0with all woods water privileges and advantages. I the said Nathan Ball do\u00a0warrant &amp; will forever defend unto their aforesaid church from me my heirs\u00a0and assigns and only unto profit use &amp; be hoof as witness my hand &amp; seal\u00a0in the presence of the witnesses under mentioned<\/p>\n<p>Test: Richard Jones, J. Watson<\/p>\n<p>Nathan Ball<\/p>\n<p>State of North Carolina<br \/>\nJones County Court<br \/>\nFeby. Term  1794<\/p>\n<p>Then was the within deed from Nathan Ball to Kittl.
