JOHN\u00a0TAYLOR, father of SARAH CHANCE and RACEL BROOM, who died intestate in Craven\u00a0County, N.C. leaving to daughters 100 acres on the North side of Beaver Creek\u00a0which JOHN TAYLOR bought of PATRICK STANALAND and land descended to his\u00a0daughters at his death. They, with their husbands, sell land to SIMON SPIGHT\u00a0for 50 pounds the 100 acres now in Jones Co., N.C. Witnesses: SAMUEL HOLIDAY;<\/p>\n<p>JOHN ISLER.<\/p>\n<p>This indenture made the seventh day of February in the year One\u00a0thousand Seven hundred and Eighty four between Vincent Chance and Sarah\u00a0his Wife Mason Broom and Rachael his Wife each of the County of Dobbs\u00a0and State of North Carolina of the one part and Simon Spight of the\u00a0County of Jones and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that\u00a0Whereas John Taylor of the County of Craven and the state aforesaid\u00a0Father of the beforenamed Sarah and Racheal his two daughters which\u00a0said John Taylor died Intestate and at his death being the trew and\u00a0lawful owners of a certain tract or parsell of Land containing one\u00a0hundred Acres lying and being on the North side of Beavour Creek and on\u00a0the east and north side of the Branch that is called Brash on record\u00a0beginning at a pine and runs So 105 Pole and thence Wt 120 So up the\u00a0branch containing one hundred acres of Land Which Said one hundred\u00a0acres of land the said John Taylor purchased of Patrick Stanaland which\u00a0said one hundred acres of land came by decent to Sarah and Rachael\u00a0Taylor the now living childering of the said John Taylor the Sarah now\u00a0the Wife of Vincent Chance and the said Racheal now the Wife of Mason\u00a0Broom  Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said\u00a0Vincent Chance and Sarah his wife and Mason Broom and Rachel his wife\u00a0for and in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds paid to them in\u00a0hand  Paid by the said Simon Spight at or before the Insealing and\u00a0Delivering here of the Reciept Whereof is hereby acknowledged Have\u00a0bargained sold aliend in fe off and confirmed and by these presents doe\u00a0Bargain sell Alien Infeoff and Confirm unto the said Simon Spight his\u00a0Heirs and assigns forever all that the afroesaid one hundred acres of\u00a0Land in the county of Jones and State aforesaid Lying and being on the\u00a0North side of Beavour Creek and on East and North side of the branch\u00a0that is called Brash on Record beginning at a pine Runs So 105 Pol then\u00a0Wt 120 so up the Branch containing one hundred Acres of land and the\u00a0Rivortion and Revortions, Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and\u00a0profits thereof and also all the Estate Right title and Interest of\u00a0them the said  Vincent Chance and Sarah his wife Mason Broom and\u00a0Racheal his Wife of in and to the same and all deeds Evidences and\u00a0Writings T\u2014hing as concerning the same to have and to hold the said one\u00a0hundred acres of land hereby granted and sold and all and singular the\u00a0premisses with t&#8212;-and every of them there apportenances unto the said\u00a0Simon Spight his heir and assigns to the proper use and behoof of the\u00a0said Simon Spight his heris and assigns forever and the said Vincent\u00a0Chance and Sarah his wife and the said Mason Broom and Racheal his Wife\u00a0for them selves their heirs executors and administrations Doe covenant\u00a0and grant to and with the said Simon Spight his heirs and assigns that\u00a0they the said Vincent Chance and Sarah his Wife and Mason Broom and\u00a0Racheal his wife are hereby lawfully possed of the said one hundrend\u00a0acres of land and all others that promised hearby bargained and sold\u00a0and are truly and lawfully sized thereof a good absolute and\u00a0indifiasable Estate of inheritance of fee simple without any manners of\u00a0condition     of limitations whatsoever to     change charge or\u00a0incumber the same and free and clear and freely and clearly exonerate\u00a0and Discharged off and from    other said Mortgages or incumberances\u00a0whatsoever and that the said Vincent Chance and Sarah his wife and the\u00a0said Mason Broom and Rachel his Wife have full power and authority to\u00a0Bargain sell and Convey the said one hundred acres of land and promises\u00a0to the said Simon Spight his heris and assigns recording to the trew\u00a0intent and meaning of theses presents and the said Vincent Chance and\u00a0Sarah his Wife and Mason Broom and Racheal his Wife for themselves\u00a0there heirs and assigns Doe covenant and agree and with the said Simon\u00a0Spight and heirs and assigns that he the said Simon Spight  his heirs\u00a0and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times Hereafter\u00a0peaceably and quietly have hold occupy and enjoy The said one hundred\u00a0acres of land and promise hereby bargained and sold as aforesaid\u00a0without any LTD Hinderance as much or molestation of or from them the\u00a0siad Vincent Chance and Sarah his wife and Mason Broom and Racheal his\u00a0wife there or Either of those heirs or assigns and of or from every\u00a0other person or persons whatsoever claims by from or under him her them\u00a0or any of theirs and Lastley that the said Vincent  Chance and Sarah\u00a0his wife and the said Mason Broom and Racheal his wife for themselves\u00a0and their heirs and assigns the said one hundred acres of land hereby\u00a0Bargained and sold unto the said Simon Spight  his heirs and assigns\u00a0against all persons whatsoever
