William H. Meadows to Bartholomew Meadows

State of North Carolina Jones County

Know all men by these present that indenture made between William H. Meadows one part and Bartholomew Meadows of the other part That I William H Meadows do this day bargain sell unto Bartholomew Meadows a sertain (certain) tract of land devised to me by my father adjoining the said Bartholomew Meadows Hardy Mundine Hardy Collins & Simmons Collins Containing one hundred and fifty acres by estimation be it more or lef (less) with the exception of a small part of said land about one quarty of an acre which is now accepted for a grave yard at said Bartholomew Meadows and neighbors can have the privilege of burying there if they see proper for in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the said Barth Meadows the right and title of said land I ever warrant and defend unto said Bartholomew Meadows his heirs and (?)assign forever I have (?) set my hand and seal the 2nd day of March 1830
