This indenture made this 25th day of July, 1786 between Kittrell Mundine Commissioner for the society of the Baptist Church and Nathan Ball of the other part Note that for and in consideration of the natural good will to the aforesaid church that I Nathan Ball hath given granted & by these present do give & grant unto the aforesaid Kittrell Mundine in behalf of the foresaid church one half acre of land lying and being in the county of Jones stated aforesaid for the use of said church bounded as follows Note, beginning at a pine standing by the side of county road the south side, thence running up the road eight poles thence a straight course from the road a square ten poles, thence eight poles a square to a black jack marked from hence 10 poles to the first station a pine by the side of the county road, which land with all woods water privileges and advantages. I the said Nathan Ball do warrant & will forever defend unto their aforesaid church from me my heirs and assigns and only unto profit use & be hoof as witness my hand & seal in the presence of the witnesses under mentioned
