Survey of L. W. HARGET’S land in Richlands Village, Jones County, N.C.

Surveyed April 6th 1905 with a two pole chain.

Beginning at the North west corner of L. W. HARGET’S old garden in the center of the ditch on the road leading from Richland’s Village to Lee MILL’S place and running south 21 W 4 chain and 46 links to M.B.SEED’S line, thence south 52 ½ E east 5 chains and17 links, to back side of M. B. SEED’S garden, thence south 37 west 16 chains and 5 links to a stake in a ditch, thence south 87 ½ east 3 chains and 8 links to a stake at the corner of the fence, thence south 5 west 15 chains 32 links, thence south 87 ½ east 6 chains and 20 links, thence south 11 west 6 chains and 4 links, thence south 88 ½ east 18 chains thence south 60 east 4 chains and 13 links, thence north 49 east 10 chains and 9 links, thence north 53 ½ west 9 chains, thence north 52 ¼ west 19 chains and 42 links, thence north 36 east 6 chains and 7 links, thence north 52 west 5 chains and 44 links,thence north 29 ½ east 6 chains and 12 links, thence north 29 ½ east 6 chains and 12 links, thence along and with the main road n 52 W 9 chains and 36 links to the beginning containing sixteen acres more or less.
