12 Feb. 1783 – MATHEW GREGORY to JOHN FRANKS for 40 pounds, 200 acres in Dobbs, N.C. on S. side of Poplar Branch at JOHN KINSEY’S line to GARRISE’S line thence to JOSEPH SANDER’S line to RHEM’S line near Mill path which was granted 10 Nov. 1779 to MATHEW GREGORY. Witnesses: LEMUEL LAVENDER, JOSEPH SANDERS.
