Whereas on the 18th day of June AD 1894, the great architect was fit to call from labor to rest out fraternal brother, Alexander B. Tunnell, a charter member of Mattamuskeet Lodge # 328 A.F. & A.M., after a protracted illness of over two years duration.

Died: In Respect--Alexander B. Tunnell, a charter member of Mattamuskeet Lodge 328 AF&AM, on the 18th June 1894.

Alexander B, Tunnell, Sr. died Hyde Co. on June 18, 1894 and Emeline died on November 2, 1898. Both are buried in the Tunnell Cemetery in Hyde County although no markers have been found.
