Styron Cemetery (Hatteras)

This cemetery is located on Hwy. 12 in Hatteras next to Nedo True Value Shopping Center.  Google Maps to find this cemetery.  The cemetery was surveyed in 1992 by Lois Meekins & Amy Gamiel for their book Sacred To Their Memory and at that time some of the stones had been damaged.  In November 2013 when Candy Roth photographed the cemetery some were missing or badly damaged.  The entries without photographs were taken from Sacred To Their Memory, © 2001.  For more information with photos visit this site about Old Hatteras Village.  http://hatterasgear.com/oldhatte.html?fbclid=IwAR1A-3BKnhaNkYqIx2-499GPIBFBniPvPaLuzjExb7-q1rXiRBkLLOHv_bg.
