Unaka Benjamin Jennette Family Cemetery (Buxton)

Going southwest on  Hwy. 12 in Buxton, go 0.2 miles southwest of Crossway Rd. (1234), turn left into a lane and go about 200 feet.  The cemetery will be on the right side of this lane and has a low cement block wall with tall columns at the entrance.  The 1992 survey of this cemetery showed it as cleared but is now overgrown.  All photographs were taken on January 27, 2017 by Dawn Taylor who stated that Rany and Lynn Jennette are buried to the right of Vivian, according to Twifords of Manteo who buried them. There are no head stones for either of them.  See the  Hatteras Island Archives Facebook page for a video of this cemetery and many more old photos and great conversations.  See a 360o video of this cemetery!
